He’s back. Officially this time.

Okay, well maybe not all the way, but you get the point.

Last night, Jeremy Lin confirmed that he signed a contract with the Golden State Warriors G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, and the Warriors actually received the mandate needed to sign him from the CBA. Ever since the Warriors failed at their first attempt to bring Lin back to the Bay Area, the rumors heated up quickly about his potential return to the NBA with the team he started off his career with way back in 2010.

The last time we saw Lin on an NBA court, it was tragic. Lin watched, not even in uniform, as the Toronto Raptors put the final touches on their 2019 NBA title. Unaware of how off-track things would go, it was heartbreaking to watch Lin celebrate finally coming out on top after all the years he spent at the bottom, a feature piece for rebuilding teams or teams who could never quite make it past the hump in the playoffs. After the conclusion of the season, Lin went to NBA champion to out of the league in a matter of months.
